epoy, my understanding is - it will be an open house, so open invitation and open bar pa!

may pa raffle pa daw si joey ... si tonyboy may give-away din na mga LPs at GC sa fusion. 8)

the guys' latest masterpiece

Postby edrel sison » Fri Oct 23, 2009 12:30 pm

it was an unexpected visit to joey's place as i need to meet eric (ambel) to pick up some transformers. the two masters were there trying to work on with their latest masterpiece, a no non sense budget system with the objective of bringing that signature HARANA sound without clogging your much precious limited listening space.

i was very lucky to be one of the firsts to see and hear the HARANA minimalist system and bouy, i was in for a surprise. the presentation from the system brought the emotion that you always wanted to have when trying to rest your tired body as you were trying to connect yourself with the music, very impressive. with the theater like ambiance room of joey the experience transformed into a very enjoyable and relaxing moment.

as simple as it can be..your i-pod to harana's amp to harana's set of speakers, finished. bring the system down, bring the system up, no problem...

i never had a beer yesterday...because i do not really drink. next time i will think about of drinking one.. :D :D

its too bad that i cannot post pictures of HARANA's latest brew..

we better wait come hi-fi show..

thanks joey and eric. great project!

On my way to St. Luke’s, I stopped by the demo room to see how it turned out.…and it turned out so beautifully! Narra woven slats on the ceiling and front wall..3 TTs (VPI, cream Garrard 301, gray Garrard 301 at the left (a short hallway) upon entering…all sorts of electronics just below the TTs….another Garrard with 2 tonearms with a big, big plinth on the left of the listening room…about 4 pairs of Harana speakers and midhorns (511, 288, and Vitavox) and all sorts of things strewn all over the place…(I love chaos..).

As luck would have it, a client arrived and auditioned a Harana with the different midhorns being switched in…and the winner was…of course yung miron! I think the room just lets the music flow though in all its beauty (ella and louis, juan dela cruz band, coltrane and harttman, and many more)…the sofa is comfy and the cerveza negra’s cold!

Congrats!

Front Wall and Ceiling - Original handcrafted Narra HARANA Design DIFFUSSORS inspired by "Woody" Philamlife Auditorium

These original design diffusser are NOT ESSENTIAL for High Efficiency Design Speaker ...they help break up echo without absorbing sound (helpful since we use low powered amplifiers)...so they were added mainly because they look GOOD ver organic!

With professional acoustic consultation from the legendary concert master SETUP1

Joey & Set-Up boys,

Thanks for having me last night. I really enjoyed my listening experience with your dynamic Horn designs/system. I'm still up and running listening to your system 12:00 AM but since others has work the next day we need to leave. Newbies & others should visit your room to hear a different audio perspective. Sa uulitin ha.

BTW, Happy Bday to Joel V(setup2). Ang sarap ng lechon, Wines & Lechon :d:  :^: :D
