Lets see if Canelo, the cinnamon can show an exciting & a very good fight against Angulo, after his defeat from Mayweather.

Farenas vs Velasquez: tom in SJ City

Postby pinoy_usa8 » Fri Mar 21, 2014 10:22 am

If Gamboa survived the knockdown scored by Michael, i dont think, journeyman Hector will.

Once Velasquez will get hit, im sure he will go down because he doesnt know how to run or either box his way out of the harms way. He might use the embracing tactics but he will go back to his old form as a warrior.

A KO for Michael Farenas

Awkward ang style ng Farenas. And he's tough.

Donaire vs Walters

Postby pinoy_usa8 » Fri Oct 03, 2014 11:36 am

Nicholas Walters, the undefeated WBO champion says, he will knock out Donaire inside 6 rounds. wow, thats a bold prediction.
Walters got a tremendous power & can knock out Donaire- i agree.

But Donaire is faster compare to Walters. he could hav less power, unlike before when Donaire was around 25-27 yrs old.
he got both power & footwork.

but some of his previous fights, Donaire seems slowing dowm & flat footed.
Walters might had the power but he pauses & will postion his feet 1st before he fires his power right or left.

A must to watch to find out.

This is a fight that you must not blink your eyes on with every round. Both Walters and Nonito has a one-punch finisher. Maybe its just a matter of who gets caught first.
Donaire has the edge in speed and footwork. Combined with his power, he can finish off Walters in spectacular fashion. He's just got to be very carefull. Really careful.

Walters should be true to his words that he can chop down Donaire like his jamaican/panamanian opponents, if not
he will go back to his old team playing crickets.

let it slide, most of them got a big mouth. its either he's carried away or just excited coming to america again because
this is his 2nd time fighting in an american soil to a world class fighter in Donaire. he dont have a caliber fighter in his resume.

kaya dont miss it on Sunday mga bai.

Walters is rated by The ring Magz as no 3 while Nonito is no 4. At 24 Fights, Walters has no loss and has 20 knockouts under his belt. Definitely a high caliber fighter Bai.
Ingat lang si Nonito. Hope he doesn't get caught with a big one. And if he doesn't, He wins.

out of 24 fights, only 2 previous opponents are rated & worthy but not a caliber. only Darchi had a bigger name in his record.
he was never tested in a battle of world class champions.

over hyped perhaps, kaya we will see it on saturday,..sunday in manila kung talagang mapa tumba niya c Donaire.
o baka maunahan siya ni Donaire kasi mabagal itong c Walters. his fav weapon is upper.

kung ma- KO niya c Donaire baka mag retire na to.

im excited na bai, kc Double Treat to.
ang main event is Golovkin vs Rubio

big blunder: after the quick knockdown by the upper, he mixed it up, thinking the jamaican might open or miss.
but it was he who miss that big & wide swing,... then the rest was history.

Our boy got axed by the Ax-man. Nonito could't measure up to Walters' power. His work rate was amazing. Nonito was outboxed, outworked, and knocked cold.
I would love for Nonito to train under Roach.. I believe he still has it. That was only his third loss, though a brutal one..
Kudos for Walters. Jamaican pride.

Bradley vs Chavez: Dec. 14 in manila

Postby pinoy_usa8 » Wed Dec 10, 2014 10:30 pm

Chavez is a power puncher- flat footed, while Bradley is quicker & fast w/ less power.
If Chavez can land a good hook that Bradley cannot see, he will go down n get up bcoz he got a good chin.

what if Bradley cant recover with more time remaining in a particular round?,....

If he can weather the storm, he will win by decision.

Donaire vs Prado

Postby pinoy_usa8 » Sat Mar 28, 2015 11:18 am

Donaire should show that he's still belong to the elite group. if not, he will retire at his early age.
a make or break situation for him- thats a pressure for him tonight.
if he doesnt look impressive tonight, people will see him often fighting in the phils.

(Donaire was never the same again, after the Rigo fight w/c he looks like an amateur, followed by that KO'ed from the Jamaican axeman.)
people are hoping & want to see a diffrent Donaire tonight.

Golovkin vs Lemieux

Postby pinoy_usa8 » Sun Oct 18, 2015 11:23 am

I think Lemieux has more power behind his gloves compare to GGG, but he's just too flat-footed inside the ring- easy to get hit by a complete
fighter GGG.

I'll take GGG on this fight.
