arnold's silver DIY cable

Postby vintage_dog » Mon Jan 20, 2003 12:44 pm

arnold, i now have this in my system for almost a week, and it's pretty nice. somehow removed some harshness caused by my original cables. seems neutral and detailed enough although the weakest link in my systems is my CDP, not the cables is used.

Arnold, your cables are lying on some nice piece of work. Guys why don't someone make a few of those nice sounding connects and sell to the group. I might be one of those lazy ones who would get a pair or 2.

arnie:

Yo, can you bring a well run in pair to my place so we can compare and evaluate against AN-Vz?

Ever thought of terminating em with Eichmann silver plugs?

ako din, I'll bring my silver brew to compare. Who knows? Further R&D tweaks and we'll equal those AN-Vz's?

hyperion, i've been looking around for that australian "bullet plugs" but can't find any locally. if you know a source, i'd make one - a shielded one so i can use it for my turntable as well.

i'll lend you the one pictured above.

grant's design is already shielded, and should work (pa test!) on a turntable.

Kewl, it will be awesome if it will equal or better the AN-Vz. Sana nga!

There used to be a Philippine dealer listed dun sa Eichmann website but I emailed the guy and he never replied. I just checked and he's not listed anymore. Hmm, maybe we can import directly from down under?

Hi,

Here in Singapore, the price for the Silver Bullet is P4,800, while the normal version is P2,200. I'll be sending some baggage next month so if this is a good price in here, I could send some for you guys.
