This week's roasting is ready for pickup. Using the new drum roaster now. I am able to roast lighter and more accurately. This is fun!

I will post new local coffee available for tasting. See first entry of this thread for updates.

Thanks guys (and gal)!

Pareng Val, siguro pag nilulon ng buo yung kape, parang Magic Beans ang effect. Wag lang yung decaf at baka opposite effect ang makuha!

Updated the coffee offerings. We'll try Cordillera beans other than Sagada for now. Nagtaas ang prices ng Sagada and I'll try to source same priced beans in the meantime.

Cheers!

dante, your african decaf is excellent. taste-wise para talagang full coffee, but i can go for a 2nd cup just fine. i think i even prefer it to my indonesian "toraja kalosi" coffee beans w/c are not decaf.

Thanks (or maybe "no thanks") for the Guats... they keep me up until this time.

For those who love the aroma that much, keep your 1/4 kl of guats at your car's trunk. It's like driving and drinking at the same time

   My cars smell like a coffee shop Pare. I know what you mean. Since I still roast the coffee myself while I am training my staff to do it, I get a caffeine fix from inhaling the smoke that is generated by darker roasts! I am roasting some beans today. Benguet arabica from Kibungan. Should be good as Kibungan is 8,000 feet above sea level so this arabica qualifies as strictly high grown (more than 7,500 feet). We'll see.

Dante,

Ahhhh... the aroma and the taste of the guatemala :D :D :D Honestly, the Sagada is pale compared to the guatemala. which was my wife's favorite then (before she tasted the guats).

'til the next roast.

Cheers.
:D :D :D

Jeanne, I can roast on Saturday, pick up anytime after I roast. If this weekend pickup, dito sa bahay. If weekday, sa office.

Fer, ang lakas nyo sa kape! Hehehe. One kilo Benguet gold it is! Kelan mo dadaanan so I can time the roast?

OK Jeanne. And noted, Doc Fer. Laking ginhawa ko with my new drum roaster that can do 250g batches. Hopefully, mapagana ko yung 1 kilo air roaster that I'm looking at kaya lang walang Manual and I still need to figure out how to make it run properly. Hehehe.

Good coffee is something we don't get in too many places here Pare. Kaya ko nga pinasok ito, I wanted better coffee than what was locally available. .
