My DIY Isolation Transformer w/ line conditioner

Image
Inside view. Used Mundorf M-caps for Live and Neutral at the trannies input. Connected a Jon Risch design conditioner at the output using Rifa paper X and Y caps before the chokes and Solen (hidden) and Auricap after the chokes. Hubbel hospital grade for the sockets.

Image
How it looks w/ the cover. Currently used for my Consonance cd player and SFL-1 pre.

Postby jomar » Tue Nov 08, 2005 12:21 am

This is my DIY bass trap based on Jon Risch Recipe. It is a 16inch diameter and 1.2 meter high. Construction is very tiring and very frustrating but the result is very rewarding .

All i can say is WHOAH !!! I can't believe i did it ..... now i am enjoying the music !!!
