I have a failed crossover on one of my EAII's.
Can i buy a single new crossover? In stock in Manila?
Or, would it just be easier to get it repaired? How would this affect sound when using an original and a repaired unit?

With the upgrade of the tweeter capacitors (mundorf silver oil and Hovland), it was a substantial improvement. For me, the sound of the Sonus was still there, it just got better. More open, less grain, more listenable at higher volume, etc. But of course you need to do it on both crossover if you want to repair yours and use the best parts that you can and you will be rewarded very well.

There are two ways of removing that tar like substance, either by freezing it, then break it slowly or boil it until it melts. Try which will be more practical for you.
