It's not all analog world after all.

....removed the tube. Replaced the opamp. And this digital setup will beat most analog rig xxxx its price. It did the one above it haha

Nols,

It can work without the tube in the socket?

What's the meaning of replacing the opamp?

Morita lent me one ages ago. Did not roll the tube but found it to be very good, on a DVD player acting as a CD transport. What's the player below it?

nice one, and coming from an analog guru, this is quite a complement to digital..

is that a Transporter at the bottom?

Correct. It's the now rare logitech transporter.

Philip although the minimax is already very good out of the box, it is a hobbyist machine. Aside from the usual tube rolling, you can actually take out the tube for a different character. The opamps can also be amp-roll for that unlimited sound possibilities.

Noly, it would be nice if you can fit in a Burson Opamp, very analogue sounding!
