Thanks

I was able to get a 100 peso cable from Cable Monster, would there be an advantage getting a "better" cable ?

i hope we can be more specific, because i know 2 major audio shops that does not carry these type of cables. it doesn't mean they aren't decent.

My take here is, if your DAC is using an asynchronous USB input, then having a "better" cable does not matter. This is because it takes full control of the data management coming from the computer unlike if it is synchronous, it is entirely dependent on your computer where there are a lot of variables that can cause more jitter.

Interference between the power and data lines of USB cables seem to affect sound quality even with my async dac

Here are my recommendation if you are serious to get one of the best at considered a reasonable price.

1. http://www.curiouscables.com/buy.html

This is the one I am using.
2. http://www.cabledyne.com/usb-cable.html

My DAC is async but big improvement upon using my current cabledyne usb cable. Lower noise floor, dynamics, +++++

You can also consider getting computer audiophile products from Paul Pang in Hong Kong. You can order online.

Following is a link to Paul Pang's USB cables:
