That beautiful wooden Y-connector is the icing in the cake ;). Looks seamless and nicely done. Thanks again Sir Kimar. Mondi, regarding the SQ, I noticed an improvement from the stock MS1. You gotta hear it to believe it. See you soon! :)

endrik35 wrote:Here is my simple headphone set-up. I use the Sennheiser PX-100 and FiiO E5 for portable and travel use. For home use, I use the alessandro ms1 and Little dot mk3 heapdhone amp. Source is a 5th gen 80 gb Ipod classic which still uses the wolfson chip. Other sources are my Iriver T30 and my Cowon Iaudio X5L 30gb which unfortunately passed away 3 weeks ago(If you guys know anyone who repairs pmp's, your advice will be deeply appreciated). Planning though to replace the X5L with an S9 or J3, still Cowon since I have come to love the SQ of the Cowon. :)

Finally gave away the Cowon iaudio X5L months ago and after that I sold my little dot mk3. I'm missing the sound of my little dot mk2 and I've decided to buy it back. So doc philpath, this is not an upgrade but really a downgrade. However, the driver tubes were UPGRADED to NOS Mullards CV4010,resistors to dale-vishays, caps to Mundorf, and alps volume pot upgrade. So my long lost LOVE is finally back and when I hooked up the S9 to the amp using my woody Alessandros,. . .I was blown away by the sound. . . Welcome back LD MK2! :) ;)

Finally, my garfield headphone softies bought from B&H for 17USD only arrived today. Bought this thru the advice of Sir Racio. Pretty comfy and cool. For headphone stands, I use my yellow lava lamp, Just make sure the lava lamp is turned off :) I upgraded the headband to authentic croco leather with sheepskin leather underneath ;)

woodification plus mods by Kimar(prawncracker of headphiles) = 2.5k(kasama na yung LBC transport to Iloilo and back)
customized crocs and sheepskin leather headband - 1.5k( sa Soliman shoe shop infront of Vinyl dump)
Garfield softies mitts = 17USD( nakipabili lang ako sapamangkin ko so no freight charge)http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/368317-REG/Garfield_SGARHS5_Headphone_Softie_Earpad.html

so around 4.8k lahat lahat :)

I'm also enjoying Prankracker's DIY Kraken amp at the moment. I'm just waiting for the RCA tubes to arrive :)

The good thing is when you realize you've gone overboard, you can peel it off.
