Audiostar's braso de kamagong

Postby audiostar » Fri Apr 24, 2009 7:21 pm

Medyo magyayabang lang po ako ng konti  Mandy has just finished sculpting my kamagong tonearm. Inip na inip na yung Luxman PD444 ko. :) I haven't picked it up yet, but i'll post updated pics once it's been mounted on my TT.

WHEW!
I thought there might be problems when you mentioned PD444. My title is in error, the arm is designed to fit in a PD444. I hope it will be a simple plug-and-play thing. I don't have any info on clearances. If there will be interference, we'll just have to remedy it. I'll attend to her until she sings.

SHE'S EAGERLY AWAITS HER PRINCE VALIANT!

Looks good! It should sound Great! Just wondering how the wires go through the length of the tone arm. Is there a channel or hole in the entire length of the arm? :^) Cheers!

There is a continuous channel inside. The arm is made up of 3 thin strips of Kamagong bonded together in a triangular configuration for strength and ease of construction.

Hmmm, interesting. It takes time, patience, and skill to do that. ;) Thanks.
