hi. just got back from tokyo. maybe your one stop shop will be disk union in shinjuku.
disk union has at least nine shops selling records. but if you are hunting for obi strips you might
find little cuz the stocks at disk union are imported. but lots of htfs and second hands!
one building housed 70's 80s and 90s records! happy digging!

I'd recommend Yellow Pop Records in Shimokitazawa. You'll find loads of classic rock, jazz, soul from this little store at very good prices. The quality are also very good, mostly near mints.

Then a mere 5 minute walk is Disk Union (in front of a bus station). This branch carries R&B, Soul, House as well as a wide selection of Blue Note, Prestige jazz and again classic rock from the 60's, 70's.

There's also a street in Shinjuku where you'll find 3 stores of Disk Union all within walking distance of each other.

If you also collect CD's, you should also check out the last Tower Records store in Shibuya. Its 7 storeys of just CD's, no vinyl in this store except for a handful of jazz.
