Because it's new, runs cold and seem to draw not much current, with sound quality a big bonus along with the mm input:

Not much has changed except that it has been relocated and I now run an iPod through the system using Rockfish interconnects. I listen to LPs once in a while but its been more iPod with Apple Lossless. It's effortless and I can play by genre for hours. :)

Jack, how is the powered sub integrated into the system? Did you use one of the pre-amp's "out"?

Yup, but it's not properly calibrated yet so I shut it off. Waiting for Hyperion to do it. Listening to Ray Brown Jr. and Friends. Sarap :)

for now... listening to my 80gb ipod movie, connecting to grado ra1 hg, using my grado 325is, alternate with beyerdynamic dt440. very addicting listening to headphone, you can hear that you've never hear before to your speaker system... :)
