Beautiful gear, beautiful room. Nice colors, nice layout! A treat for the eyes and ears.
It must be a joy to do some listening in there, but how does your listening end look :) ?

A few comments,
Did Carlosmiguel make your diffusors?
Is the room a bit live? The floor looks too nice to cover with a carpet.
Doesn't the air conditioner noise intrude upon the music?
You must be a designer/artist to come up with this eyecandy.
What is that news clipping about you on your wall (sobra osyoso ako)?

Well done! I hope to be able to have the pleasure of listening in your den someday.

There are many great speaker brands in the marketplace today. You have the old guard like Magnepan, Quad, Dynaudio, Wilson, Verity, JM Lab, all available locally. Then the relatively newer companies represented by Von Schweikert (though the designer is a grizzled and much respected designer) and the talk of the town today, Magico who it seems is able to convince customers that a 30K bookshelf is good value. Then you have Sonus Faber. Its speakers have always had a distinctive sound, a euphonic coloration thats ohh so difficult to resist. The Homage series starting from the Guarneri all the way to the Stradivari are the crowning pinnacle to Franco Serblin's designs. Congratulations Bert, but I really think that with your new babies, it might be time to probably upgrade to a split type AC unit to better hear all that the Amatis have to offer? :)

Hi MandyM,

Thanks for your kind words. I will post a picture of my listening end shortly.

The diffusors were done by my carpenter :D nang gaya lang ako ;) .
The room sounds just how I want it.
Yup medyo nakakaasar ang tunog ng aircon pag umandar compressor.
Nope I'm not an artist nor a designer. I just played around with colors when we were finishing the room.
The news clipping is 18 years old I think. During that time, The Chronicle featured shipping executives in their shipping editorial "Man at the Helm".

Thanks again and you know how to reach me if you are ready to listen.

Regards
Bert

You were spot on when you said last night that the allure of the sound of Sonus Faber comes from its "landi" factor which many find irresistible. Thank you for the advise Gerry pero wala pa akong pang upgrade ng aircon :( :) .
