HI Jack,

I have finally decided to quench my thrist for a Koetsu cartridge. Looking at the Urishi series which seems to have various models with gains ranging from .2 to .6. They have the Vermillion (.2), Sky Blue (.4) and the Tsugari (.6). What would you recomnend to be most compatible with the Lamm LL2 and LP2?

Half my carts are .2 to a shade under .3 and the other half .6. I've had no problems whatsoever with either when using the LP2 and LL2 together. My suggestion however even as I'd love to push a speaker I KNOW works fantastically well with your ML1.1 is to bite the bullet and go with a stone body koetsu. With the new suspensions they will probably outlive us. I miss my high output usrushi but when I play the Jade I so easily forget it because the stones have what the high output Koetsus have but also offer a level of refinement and speed.
