Since going with Living Voice floorstanding speakers, I've not really lusted after subs. So most of you may have a more updated combo.

Nonetheless, here are the stuff I heard and liked.

Sonus Faber standmounts and REL sealed subs. I've been told that Sonus' own subs mated better but I've not heard it so I can't comment.

Kayo naman!

VR-1 and Rel Quake seemless.

VR-1 and VR-S1 seemless too but the VR-S1 was harder to set up and get right.

The RELs have very convenient controls. I've used Stratas with bookshelves (various Mission and Merlin TSM) and with fullrange horns.

Sonus faber + REL was good BUT Sonus faber + Sonus faber sub was even better. The REL subs were more flexible in terms of placement and easier to setup/integrate but once integrated, the Sonus sub meshed with the bass timbre of the main speakers better and had the deeper and more refined bass.

The 15 ohm Rogers LS3/5A speakers integrates well with the Element subwoofers.
