i will be picking on every store along hidalgo this coming weekend, if the weather permits, just to list
down any interesting old stuff for OMD. per words of my colleague, a pioneer store where he used to buy
his old canon slrs, said that the OMD so far is their best seller.

Muy, tiangge sa greenhills. i always go there every weekend. sometimes i can get lucky
with some unsuspecting items like these.

Sorry, I've been a regular there and I haven't seen a camera shop . . . Sayang yung 55mm 1.2!! Oh well, may 50mm 1.4 naman ako . . .

these are small stalls located at the 2nd floor - tiangge section of virra mall where mostly cellphones are being
sold left and right. sorry i should have mentioned them as stalls rather than stores. there are at least three of
them selling pre-owned cameras and lenses. but old lenses rarely come and go. i even missed one Leica Lumix
lens when it was my turn to go back and pick it up. now scouting for 18-200 or 28-200 zoom.

Hmmmm . . . makadaan nga diyan after my appointment sa Sabado. .

I got the E-M5 for the same reasons. I grew up with an Olympus OM10 in the family. I used it but never really understood the settings. Nobody in the family knew a thing about it. Now I doing some unfinished business with the E-M5. One of these days I will have the OM10 cleaned and take photos. I hope film is still available by then.

Can I have film developed and scanned to disk somewhere and skip printing?

yes gino. fuji film shops or island photo. island photo i think is closing shop or reducing their operation. they will give the photos directly in cd or usb form, and not in prints. the quality is a little bit wanting but can be improved with the scanning quality.

speaking of film, it will be available in the future. but hopefully in a different form. i have high hopes (or was actually dreaming) that there will be a digital film someday, similarly designed to a standard 35mm slr negative, b&w or color. not necessarily packaged and rolled in a cartridge but just a single drop-in digital film using our old slr cameras, and ready to click. cool ha.

upon reading a particular post from another forum, i am literally shaking upon knowing of
this real digital revolution in film photography coming into reality. let me share.
