yes sir, my favorite lens... almost 85% of the time it is attached to the camera body...

ayan ang excuse ko kasi bobo ako sa portraiture   :D

wide angle are less sensitive to speed... telephoto lens are the opposite as these magnify very small movement... kaya dun ako sa wide :D

will try to answer to my limited knowledge

P&S have varied features and capabilities
1) small sensor size limit the quality of captured image especially on low amount of light. digital noise (unwanted color blotches) is common.
2) some (or most) P&S cams do not have manual settings to adjust speed, aperture and ASA. most are fully automatic.
3) built-in lens is limited in range and less capable of resolving more detail. but the leica are good... and recent offerings from panasonic & samsung are getting better.

the more robust higher end models have better features that are near or almost equal to dSLRs

Fuji brand have very good low light capabilities as compared to others. mount it on a small tripod to extend further its capabilities. but i see the canon having faster AF speed & better focusing on low light or indoor situation. tech race is intensive kaya almost all companies have improved on their previous weaknesses.

but the limitations of P&S should not discourage anyone to try... tsambahan is just around the corner... after all we do not waste film... just erase the blurred ones and shoot again :D digital is truly a wonderful gift that occurred in our generation... lucky we are.. :D

cheers!!
