i noticed that some of the ws enjoyed shooting b/w i personally loved the b/w medium and perhaps the only reason i shoot film is only with b/w and not digital corrected to b/w (big difference there) lately i have come to shooting with ildord HP5 (my favorite high speed film) along with whats left of my agfa scala stock and sending it to
www.dr5.com for processing as b/w SLIDES, and this was brought about by Agfa Scala B/W slife films, sadly agfa folded up last year and so goes the remaining scala stocks, i bought the lost ones from B&H with only one box of 120 propack left in my fridge and i am just waiting for the right occasion to use it.
however not all is gloom and doom in the B/W> film world! Rollei (yes makers of the roleiflex cameras) came up with the rollei b/w films and is available in the US, ths is in my opinion the replacement for the much loved agfa scala
for now my next personao project would be to get myself an old deardorf 8x10 camera and travel to the chinese settlements in and around malaysia document chinese shop houses!
