aeroes: Nice. How's the Inmotion IEM sound?

I am actually selling off my Etys ER4p. (I haven't used it for almost 2 years!)

But looking at your Inmotion I am tempted to do an A/B between my ER4p and your Inmotion.

they really dont make them. alessandro and his good friend john grado had an agreement that grado labs will also manufacture headphones under alessandro's label.

i dont get the logic of making hphones under someone else;s name. just me :D how would grado differentiate the alessandros he made from his own line? or prolly its a collaboration in a way that alessandro chose the materials while maintaining the grado design? how would the ms1 pair up against sr80 or sr 125?

@dranoel OT :D why is it when we talked about these kind of stuff over the other forum, i feel like barking at the wrong tree (forest)? are people really satisfied with the ipod earphone setup? or are we cursed with pihikan ears?

Lots in Adelphi, Singapore (2nd floor).
They also have a couple of headamps there.
Most of the items can be auditioned.

I got my MS-1s from the Alessandro site ( http://www.alessandro-products.com ), and I had them shipped to my aunt who travels back and forth from the US to the RP alot.

Im not really in any position to compare it with other Grados since these are my first pair, BUT from what i've read on Head-Fi, they're alot tamer, with regards to the highs.

If your interested there a 37 page thread in Head-Fi made for the sole purpose of MS-1 love. :D ( http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=201465 )

Glad to see there's actually a local community for headphones, up to about a week ago, I thought there were only audiophiles til I got pointed to these forums.

Just received the cable the other day, and my impression still varies. One things for sure, it sounds alot better than the headphone out. 8)

x2 on that.

Now that i've had like a couple good hours to listen to it, there are really big audible differences between Lineout and Headphone out.

Ahhhh.. the force is strong in you.. yesss... lol

I got the lineout cable from Audiolineout (http://www.aloaudio.com/). Feel free to e-mail the owner Ken, he's known for his crazy customer service. (ie. I emailed him once, 30 mins. later I got his reply) :D

Anyone tried a DIY of that lineout cable? Looks simple enough to do with the right plug.

Just like the gage20 wires that has 41 strands, I think I saw something like that from my friend.

I have found this thread upon searching the net:

http://www.ipodlinux.org/Dock_Connector

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=132916&highlight=dock+line

Madali lang pala.

BTW, I already have a pocketdock from my past 4thG Ipod that has a line out and firewire in. Would the pocketdock sound different than a dedicated DIY lineout or just the same?

ganun ha ! hehehe. I'm not convinced to buy those $75 line outs with mini plugs. The configuration just seems too simple and know that I can make one.

I made computations on costs and find that it is cheaper to buy these dock connectors (bare) from www.qables.com. Only Php 100 per piece and shipping at about Php 170 for priority mail.
