I'm looking for an iPod lineout cable myself. iPod connector to 1/8" jack. Where can I find one?

Here is my simple headphone set-up. I use the Sennheiser PX-100 and FiiO E5 for portable and travel use. For home use, I use the alessandro ms1 and Little dot mk3 heapdhone amp. Source is a 5th gen 80 gb Ipod classic which still uses the wolfson chip. Other sources are my Iriver T30 and my Cowon Iaudio X5L 30gb which unfortunately passed away 3 weeks ago(If you guys know anyone who repairs pmp's, your advice will be deeply appreciated). Planning though to replace the X5L with an S9 or J3, still Cowon since I have come to love the SQ of the Cowon. :)

Gino, madali lang yan. There are cheap, as in P100, A/V connector for iPod sold almost everywhere. Change the ends to 3.5mm plug.

Guys, follow up ko lang yung inquiry ko regarding my Cowon Iaudio x5L. Read the reviews regarding the Cowon S9 and J3 and it seems the SQ of the old X5L is better than the newer generation Cowons. If any of you know any technician who could repair my X5L, please do tell and I will forever be grateful! Thanks! :D

Thanks Arnoldc. I bought na av cable. Ang haba he he. I tried a 2 rca into 1/8" adaptor. Nipis sound. So I connected the av cable to an rca to rca adaptor then to my Analysis PLus iPOd cable. Sounds good. Dami lang cables he he. Pagsinipag ako I'll cut the cable and use a 1/8" jack. Very good suggestion.

Capdase Sync Cable Connector. Looks like this can be cracked open. However I am not sure it has existing pins for lineout audio.

Bought a USB adaptor for the iPod earlier for P300 at MCS. Got not only for the connector but also for the nice wall adaptor with USB, auto volt pa from 100V to 220V. For me sulit for my needs.

Finally accepted the fact that my Cowon Iaudio X5L is beyond resurrection. Have it opened up though, the problem is in the "internal charging" of the built in battery. Had my eyes on a Cowon Iaudio S9 32gb player and a Nationite S:Flo2 16gb mp3 player with dual wolfson chips and a line out. I think the SQ of the S:Flo2 wins over the Cowon S9, however a shorter battery life and problems in reliability tipped the scales in favor of the Cowon. Bought the Cowon S9 and I must say that its SQ is almost as similar as my jurassic X5L. Im happy with the S9. . .for the moment. . . :)

Nice set of cans Sir Marcus and welcome to wired state! :D Since your the head honcho in headphiles, I guess your the right person to ask when it comes to choosing PMP's as well. Did I made the right decision when I chose the Cowon S9 over the Nationite S:FLO2? Thanks and Godbless! :)
