Had the Redmi bundle (the ones with the mi in-ear headphones) recently for php 5,700 from lazada. I can say the phone, overall, may topple several mid range smartphones on the price range and maybe even smartphones priced 3 times the Redmi. Yes, it's purely a phone made in china but its hardware and software quality and stability may easily beat most mid range smartphones because of the price at least. Me neither is connected to lazada nor mi (xiaomi), just a satisfied buyer who really had the baaaaaaanng for the buck. Go check out online for reviews and SPECS. As for the headphones, of course not the best around when it comes to SQ and build, but for the price i think it's reasonable enough. Maybe think of skullcandy's in-ears.
