Need Help: Headphone impedance

Postby Donlovejoy » Thu Oct 02, 2014 3:45 pm

I'm planning to buy a beyerdynamic custom one pro headphone to be mated with a Bravo Audio V3 Headphone Tube amplifier

Bravo Audio V3 Headphone Tube amplifierTechnical Specifications:
Input Power: DC24V
Input Sensitivity: 100mV
Input Impedance: 100KOhm
Output Impedance: 20~600 Ohm
Gain: 30dB
Frequency response: 10Hz-60KHz +/- 0.25dB
Signal/Noise Ratio: >90dB
Dynamic range: 84.6dBA(300 ohm) 89.8dBA(33 ohm)
THD: 0.016%(300 ohm) 0.45%(33 ohm)I
MD + Noise: 0.045(300 ohm) 0.42(33ohm)

beyerdynamic custom one pro Technical Specifications:
Transducer type: dynamic
Operating principle: closed
Nominal frequency response: 5-35.000Hz
Nominam impedance: 16ohm
Nominal SPL: 96dB
Max SPL: 116dB
T.H.D: <0.2%
Power handling capacity: 100mW
Ambient noise attenuation: approx. 18dBA

The beyerdynamic custom one pro has a nominal impedance of 16 ohms whereas Bravo Audio V3 Headphone Tube amplifier has Input Impedance: 100KOhm
Output Impedance: 20~600 Ohm, is this a matched pair? Any problems?
