syempre audiophile hehe....

doesnt matter which platform it has, although im bent on windows. which smartphone has the best sound quality?

one you just plug in the ear/headphone without the need for a headamp....looking forward to more time on the road so longer battery life is a plus.

TIA

Actually parepareho lang yan . . . Sa headphone and headamp magkakatalo talaga.

Actually apple products makes better handsets for audio. I like on-the-go music. Just plainly source and cans. No portable amps since i find it uhmmm slightly bulky. I've tried several brands and models of handsets. Yet apple still has the ace. And also i use flac player for my apple handset and a 30pin to female 3.5mm adapter.

First impressions: A vast improvement from old Apple earbuds. Very airy and perceivable bass. I did notice a poor seal. Eitherbthis seals your ear or it doesn't. In my case it had leaks. The mids has some peaking and sibilance. The bass was anemic. However there is a dramatic improvement if I hold them in place. There is massive bass. I may have to look for ear mold kits to make this sound great. The loose fit makes them fall off easily. Not good for running.

I bought a set of Westone UM3X RC in-ear monitors for my iPhone 5. Wow. It is alive! Way better than my Shure E4C. Lots of headroom and very airy. Soundstage is much more expansive. Percussive attack is much more aggressive. Bass is full and goes low. Whatever I am missing is probably the source's fault. Good days ahead.
