Its always sad when a giant in our field passes. I'll think of him when I play my hd414's, and listen to the recordings I've done with MD421's tonight.

Rest in peace Dr. Fritz, your PX -100 still amazes me up to this day. Paired with an Ipod. I prefer to bring it rather than the Grados for bus trips to provinces. . .

This weekend we went to Baguio and took the bus. Total trip time almost 15 hours both ways. That's almost 15 hours with a set of Sennheiser CX-300 feeding audio into my ears. Pure enjoyment, no fatigue. Maybe that was Dr Sennheiser's way of saying goodbye. It will be hard to forget him, though, with that kind of legacy.
