cable repair?

Postby aero » Wed Aug 06, 2014 10:04 am

looking for recommendations on where i can bring my interconnect cable for repair. specifically it's a soldering job. the ground lead got disconnected and needs to be soldered back on. haven't held a soldering iron since college a long time ago so i'd rather someone with lots of current practice did this. cable is a tara labs rsc air-2 if it makes a difference (well from my view, ayoko naman dalhin sa tabi-tabing gawaan ng electric fan at crt tv though i'm sure kung solder at solder lang kaya nila; hopefully someone/some place where they'd at least use quality solder).

would appreciate any referrals. thanks!

Just bring it to any electronics repair shops, kahit cguro yung sa tabi tabing shop kayang gawin yan, its a simple job. The solders job is to keep the wire in place and not provide electrical contact.

If you really want good solder for peace of mind, I guess you can buy your own lead with silver, someone use to sell it here or at pinoydvd. it requires a higher melting point though.
