SET amps

Sir...Tanong ko lang, why most tube amps used el-type looking transformers? Why nobody come up with a design using a toroidal or super-ring transformers...less heat, less vibration with a short signal path?

anybody here using the Zero product (autoformer) posted by Sir Amandarae? I recently talked to a SET owner who switched from expensive speaker wires to these, and he's very happy with the product.
