Von Schweikert Audio is back in the Philippines (2)

Moderators: JackD201, keith

Thanks to jack and keith

Postby dafos » Wed Mar 16, 2005 8:12 pm

i'd like to thank jack and keith for hosting me last sunday. The von schweikert's are a definite "must audition" for anyone looking for a pair of speakers regardless of budget. Whether it be the VR 1 or the mighty VR 4 SE's, these are emminently musical speakers that will not blow you away with boosted lows and highs. But listen well and what you will hear is extremely natural and pleasing.

dafos, It was great meeting you. As Jack has said, you are welcome to visit anytime.

Sir Arnold, you are of course welcome, including your headbanging cds. Kung marindi man ako, lipat na lang ako sa kabilang kwarto. However, is it ok if we schedule on Saturday afternoon instead. Like JackD, I'm on the verge of being in the "dog house" so I promised to stay home Sunday. Regarding 110v, I'll have to check. But to bring an amp? Anytime. :D

CIA and arnold,

Many thanks for dropping by. You are always welcome. Just send me a pm or text so either Jack or myself can free up our respective schedules. ;)

Jack seems to be firm in getting the Stingray, so maybe soon you can hear the VR-1s with tubes.

Hope you guys visit us soon. :)

keith and jack, thank you for letting us listen to the VR-1s. although it has not broken in, it has potential. however, i believe the aleph 0 driving it limits the type of music i can play on that combination. but that's just me...

pogi ng VPI mo sir jack ;)

VR-1s can now be demoed at our place finally with tubes (now with the manley stingray) and also at Hypertriode's place. Either place is cool as prices are identical to protect the store owners and buyers alike.

We'd like to welcome Hyper Audio to the VSA family. :D

Anyone interested in hearing the VR-1s and VR-2s, please send sir Vintage Dog a pm. He'll be home auditioning them with a host of his tube amps.
