Endeavor Audio Engineering

"I found another good-sounding, high-value loudspeaker from newcomer Endeavor Audio Engineering. This new California-based company launched the brand with three models, the E-1 stand-mount at $1495 per pair, the larger dual-woofer stand-mount E-2 at $3500, and the three-way floorstanding E-3 priced at $5995. All the products are built entirely in California, with drivers sourced from Denmark. The E-3 is a tall and slender model with cabinet that tapers from 9” wide in the front to 5” in the rear, thus eliminating parallel surfaces. The 82-pound E-3 features dual 7” aluminum-cone woofers mated to a 6” Kevlar midrange and a Dual Ring Radiator tweeter from Vifa. Driven by CI Audio’s D-200 Mk.II monoblocks ($4000 per pair), the VAC Standard preamp, and a YFS music server, the E-3 was highly engaging, with an assertive and upbeat presentation. This is a lot of loudspeaker for $6000." -Robert Harley

Persuant to our mission to bring more high value offerings, EAE's E^3 is now playing in Manila 8)

On first hook up akala ko sira    12 hours later tunog VS na. He designed them. Mids can sometimes be stiff pa so I'll do some more running in.

It's extremely capable at very low levels VD but dang these towers are party animals too. Very easy to drive. Hindi man pinawisan ang Valvet monos.

Meron ba Ding? Ang alam ko, at least for now, the E-3 is the range topper. E-1 and E-2 prototypes have been built. Keith requested the E-1 2-way for evaluation.

Update: so far mids are still prominent but there are some songs that are smooth sailing already, just not across the board yet. Hayop bumomba ito. It rocks Rock.

nasa drawing table na raw, $15k price range daw and will have 2 - 12" woofs, 2 mid drivers and a ribbon tweet. Leif said it should give anything in the $50k range and below a run for the money.

Nakakatakot na yan ah. The E-3s can bang a big room as is. Keith and I were listening to the E-3s earlier this evening. Definitely a party speaker and voiced for a more experimental demographic. If VRs are busog but pino, as of now these are, gregarious. Para bang sinasabi niya, sige pa upak! :D

Hey! Welcome to WS Leif. This is a most pleasant surprise!

The peakiness in the mids is gone now thanks to some break in and the sound is now very, very coherent. I'm now running the E-3s with an Aesthetix Atlas Signature. There are very few speakers on the market I've heard that do well playing very soft and very loud. The E-3 is one of them. The bass is a particular strong point. Tuneful, powerful and taut without being overdamped. That is a very difficult balance to find and you guys did it. Congratulations man. That is 20k bass performance and by that I mean the best of the 20ks.
