All our brands got glowing reviews at CES. All. This made me grin from ear to ear.
The LSA1 Statement got the nod (along with AA's Usher tiny Dancer) as one of the 2 best loudspeakers under $2,500. The good news is one can get most of what the LSA1 statement offers for only $1,000 for the Standard
Critical Mass Systems was the vibration isolation component of choice under co-best of show Lamm/Gershman as well as for the ASR Emitter II.
Our new Ambience Ref 1600 got good exposure despite being driven by budget gear which cost as much as the cables Those of you who've heard it driven by Keiths Lamm SETs should be told that what they've heard here trounces the Ambience CES presentation. Ooooh boy they have no idea about the true potential. Come to think of it we're just finding out ourselves!
Voted Most Important New Product: The Lamm ML3 Reference SET amplifier
and lastly co-best cost no object loudspeaker (among many) the Von Schweikert VR-5. Nice to know 5 gets in when there are the VR-7,9,10, and 11 further up the totem pole
JV and his backhanded compliments for VSA took an all time low, misspelling the model number twice, attributing speaker performance to the preamp used (what the....) and awarding it most surprising performer. Well at least he can't deny it anymore and grouped it along with the Magicos, Maxx 2 (Lamm driven hehehe), Black Swan (also Lamm driven hehehehehe), Kharma 3.2 (another Lamm equipped room with an LP2 present) , Quad 2905 and a couple of others that cost 4 times more as one of the best. So thanks JV.
