why? - simplicity, form, reputation. to me at least it is also visually appealing.

how about a hybrid CA and VPI chop-chop experiment? :?:

everything VPI TNT 5 except for star plinth (CA solution style) so you can accommodate three tonearms and three cartridges all at the same time. convenient cartridge roller na, "overkill" VPI components (hanep sa turnilyo at motor! pang-barko!) pa. :lol:
