Not so much info.... All I know is that's the big brother of the SL6si. 8) It has twin 6-inch woofers per enclosure. :) I guess bass performance of the 12si is better than the 6si. :)

Yup, that's MY Aerolams. 8)

MSM,
One great speaker! alam mo naman na fave ko rin yang celestion. I've had the celestion 1,3, 5, SL6Si, SL12Si and their attempt at subs, the Celestion 6000 with xover. All that is left with me is the celestion 5 and the damn subs, both of which are parked at Hein's hacienda.
I've noticed however that these speaks don't really reequire big muscle amps as in ML's or Krells for high current workouts. What they do need though is voltage from tube amps due to the low sensitivity. I had a pair of ATC SCM10 which were 80db in sensitivity with Brystons clipping. But with my humble Cary SLA 70 sigs, I was able to get ample sound levels. Weird but true.

Dami mo pinagdaanan na Celestions, Nhocty :!: But I'm not surprised. 8) Celestion was really highly regarded before. 8) Probably as much as how the newbies think of Sonus Faber nowadays.

Akin na lang yung Celestion "Buntis na mahilig mag Bottom-Out" Subs mo. :D

The 12Si is way more sensitive than the SL6Si rin. I think that's rated at 86 db as against the 82 db of the 6Si.

The Celestion sound (old 6 series and Aerolams) did have rave reviews, however, it did not appeal to the mass market. Somehow, that "bat cave" sound did not really click to a lot of people.

I guess cost was also a factor. For the price of a SL600si or a SL700si, one can get a floorstander from other British makes.
