copying to CDR at different volumes?

Is is possible to copy cd tracks on a cdr at a higher or lower than the original.

I plan to make a CDR with a burn-in track at different levels in order to simulate natural listening.

What software do you use?

I can capture audio tracks onto Pinnacle Studio 8.5 then mess around w/ the volume levels but I can't do it cleanly...

The CD tracks would have to be converted first to DVD/SVCD/VCD soundtrack then converted back to PCM.

Quite messy.

Just hook up your speakers to an int amp, and TV (tuned to HBO or any movie channel). And play them continuously for a few days. That's what I typically do. Remember that using a cd burnin track requires your cdp running continuously too and while that is good for the electronics part of the cdp, its not exactly healthy for the transport and mechanical sections.

Or ... you can leave your speakers to me, I'll hook it up to my PC to play C&C Generals and Linkin Park - I promise it will be broken, este breakin in a few days hehehe.

Nero Burning allows you to set the volume levels for each track.
