Hi guys!

Any recommended DSD-capable DAC which can decode DSD files via coaxial and/or toslink? Most can decode via USB only. Thanks

Jen,
Probably NOT the native DSD but via DoP=DSD-over-PCM then into your SPDIF/Toslink, most likely max at 192k (PCM) only.

So you're going to output your DSD files via SPDIF then connect to an SPDIF DSD DAC, did I get you right?
Since I started with this hi-rez audio, I've always been limited to 192k via coax; it was only via USB that I can experience DSD 64 or 2xDSD=128.

I played around with DoP and sounds 'OK' but I can't get it off my mind that I'm wasting money converting my DSDs to PCM - what's the point? But that's me.

There has to be a reason why even the 40,000-dollar Antelope Rubicon does not support DSD via SPDIF/Toslink.

Perhaps Computer Audiophile can help in your search.
Do let us know?

Ciao!

Maybe there is one lurking, but I read somewhere that
