Guys,

appreciate if you can recommend a good dock with speakers that's available in Manila. I have a friend who is in the market for one but has no idea which ones are good. Price is not really an issue. Thanks in advance for all the tips.

Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin. I've seen it in Manila, though not at the usual hi-fi places.

If you can't find the B&W Zeppelin, this is supposed to be quite good.

this tubed Samsung docking station is cool too.

Combining the technology of the amplifier tube Vacuum Tube of fiberglass speaker 2.1 channel and a powerful built-in subwoofer with a power of 100 watts, the dock Samsung DA-E750 delivers sound warmer and more natural than conventional systems that exploit transistors. Also the combination of valves digital amplifier reduces distortions sound while the fiberglass speaker allows to reproduce sound range that ranges from crystalline to enhanced bass tones. The sound is not amplified by a processor but are directly the valves that, in an analog manner, allow an emission sharp and precise.
The design clean and essential lines minimal yet sophisticated, the small size and wood finish combine high-tech soul of the DA-E750 a touch of luxury and elegance. Much more than a standard audio dock, the latest from Samsung releases Vacuum Tube amplifier, during audio playback, glows warm and soft that accentuate the polished wood.

Cambridge Audio had a Docking Station that can accommodate an iPod or an iPad and outputs to 75-ohm RCA, Toslink, and AES/EBU (the best).
I have one that I no longer use. It was about PhP 11k when new.
Let me know if you're interested.
