After more than a year sitting in its box i thought i would give mine another try and if still not working using my laptop i would then sell it. Cambridge people were very helpful via email but nothing worked, including downloading new drivers.

With the same laptop and vista it still does not work, i know it works with XP but i did not give it more than a few minutes.
I have also tried with Windows 7, no problem. So i decided to give up on the Vista laptop (i blame the laptop, not Vista) and stick with an XP laptop.
This is my first DAC. I find the sound quality excellent playing lossless or low bit rate files, it is a keeper

The only question now is, should i keep it to myself in my music room or use it as part of a general use system?
