Sent by Ding (setup NYC)...I don't know much about this driver except that in Japan it is as desirable as a WE755A.

So how does it sound? Specs? Size? I was thinking if there's a 10" driver that will better my Altec 406-8Y pa. Joseph, meron pa ba? ;)

In a succeeding email from Ding, he was asked by his retired NYPD friend to build OBs for them and to his ears they sound GREAT!

To get an idea of pricing, the first pair was acquired at $1300, next pair $2200. The late Walt Bender wrote about these speakers in Audiomart and IIRC the size is between 9"-10" (tama guesstimate mo), Euro standard frame.

Makes me want to look for my book about Siemens that details its history and products . Hope to get info on this one. But one thing is for sure, never got to see these in its museum in Munich. Lot's of tubes of course.......

But if it's Siemens, it must be good! : 8)
