[quote="jlooney"]Just wanted to vent.
I waited from 10am up to now only to find out AA can't deliver because they don't have a vehicle or something. - Vehicle, Driver and Amplifier is ready since 12NN.
I'm sure there are reasons why they can't deliver. What I don't understand is why did they commit to deliver today?! - its your local dealer who can't commit with us. We at Audio Amplified makes sure of total customer satisfaction. Please don't blame us. Asked your local dealer what is the real story.
In fact, we also have other delivery today, delayed because we are still waiting for your local dealer...

Cheers

An unsolicited endorsment from previous audio dealings with Noel.

Amp to be delivered today! Thanks Noel!
I believe the message posted yesterday was clear - transaction was between HIFI and MYSELF. I was merely "relaying" the obscure reasons given by the store. There wasn't even a mention of Noel or how he transacts business.
After talking to Noel, I heard the whole story. Yes, Noel is easy to talk to.

Cayin CS-55A

Postby AudioAmp » Fri Nov 14, 2014 10:31 am

The wait is over… Finally replacing the legendary Cayin A-50T is the new CS-55A integrated amplifier.

Rated at 40-watts per channel into 8Ω in Class AB ultra-linear mode; The CS-55A is an all-rounder that will fit into many new hi-fi lovers’ homes. It comes standard with KT-88 power tubes that produce 40-watts per channel, but at a flick of a switch you can run EL-34 family tubes. This is a fantastic feature as the owner can tube roll 5 different tubes (KT88, 6550, EL34, 6CA7 and KT77) to achieve different sound without having to buy new equipment. And to make this process even easier the amplifier has an on-board voltmeter for easy adjustment of tube bias.

To extend the functionality of the CS-55A, Cayin has added the following features:
1) A built-in phono stage for the growing vinyl market.
2) A dedicated headphone output.
3) A 32-bit/384kHz USB DAC, so you can connect your computer to the CS-55A and stream music through it.
4) A full-featured remote control
5) The typical Cayin signatures, such as hand-made point-to-point wiring and silver-plated internal signal wiring.
