Le Chateau de Jadis

Just came from Le Chateau de Jadis and I still have that euphoric feeling of a student coming home from a good lecture.
I don't know if it's his upgrades, or maybe my ears had been upgraded through the years but Jadis' system is sounding great and better than I remember it to be (which had been already ear-opening to begin with since it was the 1st time I heard a high end analog based system totally smother ALL digital based systems I've ever heard).
That time I became aware that analog is the way to go and digital still has a long ways to go. This time ... I've never heard Maggies sound so airy, clean and grainless, so lush and creamy, so warm and full ... nor have I ever encountered any Audio Research amplifier sounding so tonally colorful, so relaxed and effortlessly graceful. I am throwing out all my prejudices. I guess anything is possible with a master at the helm ...
What I heard was totally natural sounding, effortlessly airy and holographic, absolutely non-fatiguing and very musical, and I am sure the guys who were with me would agree.
Thanks for having us as guests Philip.
