Finally was able to land a strong piece of the famed Amperex Bugle Boy series of tubes, this one a 12AX7, with a Delta acid etched code and round getter. I heard there is a long plate version with foil getter. The hunt continues.

Good sound. An 'all-around' tube from top to bottom, clean and defined, but Mullard long plates are still the king of the mids for me.
