Ich Bin Ein der Freund aus Von Schweikert (VS Manila Visit)

While browsing through a magazine, I was surprised to see these large behemoths of loudspeakers which I did not immediately identify were from Herr Von Schweikert had it not been for the banner that read Von Schweikert Research. It was from a high end show in the 90s. Hmmm...were these the grand-daddys of the VR-11s? Akala ko Duntech Sovereign.

Wow, I counted 12 amplifiers in the back...if stereos...12 amps per sides? unless they are amp+power supply. So 6 amps (x2 if stereo)...wow

Those were the VR-10 Armageddons. It was developed with some help from VTL. Those are Wotans in the back (3 pairs) and the two boxes in front are active crossovers made by Luke Manley for these speakers. Not shown in the pics are the Bass towers.

Jack,

Even that awesome looking ADOBO recipe is in the papers today!!!!!!

One thing I immediately noticed different from this ADOBO recipe is the amount of GARLIC used!
Will definitely try this...from PDI article...this may just be the ultimate ADOBO recipe that i have been looking for!

for 1 kilo pork + 1 kilo chicken .....1/2 kilo of GGGAAAARRRLLLIC .....

The NOV HIFI is coming soon.....this original Manang Elena ADOBO would be a super "pot-luck" for the Saturday night festivities...please JACK
