SESSIONS WITH THE 70

Postby ESaudio » Mon Dec 19, 2011 12:03 pm

Doc Randy,

many many thanks for being a gracious host last night for an amazing session with the Trodt Gm70 at your well-treated audio hub. The VRJr had really shown and delivered that heart-pounding performance via a bi-amp config with the Trodt Gm70 and your Parasound SS amp. The choiced tracks that you played somewhat tested the limits of the Gm70 and the VRJr and they both commensurate each other. And one prominent track that really calls it a night is that of Ray Brown playing the bass shoved with the bow. :D :D :D

And most of all is that sumptuous dinner. We're truly grateful.

and the night could not have been made possible without the intercession of our beloved Mod kabubi!

It was my pleasure meeting you and Mang Rod last Sunday Patrick. Thanks for letting me listen to those amps. They were truly awesome and really deserved world class status. More power to you and to Mang Rod and to Filipino ingenuity and craftsmanship in general :)

I would like to thank Larry (camotecue) also on the Kamagong frames. They look great and blend perfectly with the
coated copper top plates!

they are, and they sound very good 8)

they probably sounded good when you listened to them, but I can tell you they reached another level of performance after they fully burned in. When I first received them, I thought "very good, pero medyo matalas". They have since mellowed down a bit, yet remained detailed & dynamic. I could listen to them for 8 hours straight without feeling fatigued.
