Mang Rod's audio creations...

Hi Octaver!

Your comment on the faceplate is indeed worth certain cents. Maybe whatever your suggestions on how to make it look perfect is most welcome.

But Kabubi once said: "No matter what aesthetic improvement you do on the Musika (or any of Mang Rod's creations), it will never, never do justice to the supreme sound that emanates from it". So, the faceplate is no big deal.

This is my other Trodt audio gear that i put on a simple faceplate:

Tnx bro.

Nice . . . Vintage look!!!

I remember Mang Rod talked about that unique chassis.

Bro, have you heard of Mang Rod's recent AG Series amps? All of his amps that he's coming out are already designed with an AG audio transformer.
Tnx

Went to see him last week to have this amp checked. Heard the latest Musica preamp connected to one of his push-pull amps. Very very nice.

Have you heard the recent creation of Mang Rod. . . . calling all those who are lingering around his humble abode. Have you seen this one?

Image

Swweeet music. . . . ganda tumunog talaga (for the few who have heard . . swerte nyo).

Image

Oooopps it's alongside my 845's na pala. Hehe he. Will it stay there permanently? . . Abangan!

Image

How can you beat this one with a separate chassis for power supply!

Yes indeed :!: My son was equally impressed by the sound of that amp. Those quad 6GM5 tubes can trully sing. :) Yours na? Better get some spares medyo expensive and hard to find.

Di pa captain. Am still trying to evaluate, though I truly like the amp. Produces less heat than the 845s and lower power consumption for the same sweet music.

Congrats Jimbo!

'wag mo ng pakawalan yang latest /newest creation ni Mang Rod na yan. Very rare and quite impressive as i had the chance to listen to them especially with that another newly experimented and discovered tubes by MR. With that separate chassis for power supply, para'ng monoblock tuloy ang dating and they look gorgeous.

Jimbo baybeh,

is that the prototype or is that a completely different one? the prototype i've heard already and it is truly fabulous. Mang Rod has outdone himself again and the result is another landmark achievement. guys, please pardon me for the big, sweeping statements but that is what the sound is at the very least, BIG and SWEEPING.

for those of you looking for something new from Mang Rod, this is it. now if i can call somebody from the audience to volunteer...hmmmm...eenie, meenie, mynie...mo and the lucky guy is...

and to you Atty ES O. Joe...maghanda ka na sa bagong project natin! :D let's go and do something earth-shaking :D

Mga kaibigan, di pa kumakapit sa system ko yun. I just borrowed it to test in my system. This is the prototype and I don't think Mang Rod will allow me to get away with the prototype. Sayang nga, I would've liked it to stay like it was in the picture. So pwede nyo pa marinig. Will return it in a few days. . . or so I would like you to think... heh heh heh

Jimbo,

please tell us how it sounds with your "DIY" speakers.

matanong ko lang, is this more powerful than the integrated KT88 of Mang Rod?

You mean 6550? He is partial to these tubes against the KT88, which is my next project :) :)
