What modifications have you made to your TD124 TT?

What useful modifications have you made to your TD124 that have improved the sound or function?
I have a few tips.
A friend has aluminum TD124 platter from epay. It sounds better than stock but was $$. Bass is tighter and overall much quieter backgrounds.
He also replaced the old rubber “mushrooms” that became hard with age with new ones, again off epay.
Replacing the thin often-dimpled bottom bearing plate with a thicker one out of brass is well worth the effort.
Mr. Vintage Dog, I'm very curious about that acrylic platter you had made. Would you mind sharing a picture of your TT please?
hopefully soon to be a new TD124 owner......Dan
