I'm new here so bear with me.
I've just aquired a Presto T2 Promenade Idler drive TT which I intend to take to pieces and mount in a solid wood base with an as yet undecided tonearm. Just wondering if anyone out there has experience of these and has any information that might help with my build.
It seems to turn well enough but haven't really spent any time with it yet.

I've seen a couple at hamfests and radio shows but don't have hands on experience with them. Based on how they were built, they seem to be in the same class as Rek O Kut idlers with some models having variable speed capability.
