Nice One
Is the plinth "solid" or a frame?
Are you using the iron platter?
I think i see a space indicating mushrooms are in use?

Thanks Paul!
It is a frame, made up of solid 3/4 inch thick wood planks and the top plate made up of MDF. Yes, I am using an iron platter. I never had a problem as far as the cart sticking to it. I am also using the mushrooms. I prefer having them in place as opposed to the frame lying directly on the base plinth.

Abe

Thank you very much! I recall my brother mentioning the type of wood as of "Walnut family" but cannot remember what he specifically calls it.
thanks again!

Welcome sir! Ohh, those are dowel joints. Actually, it's a joinery that is like a mortise and tenon type using a domino. The tool brand name is Festool.

Abe

None whatsoever sir! But I do believe that the TT is quieter on the new plinth because the clearance is higher compared to the old one.
Thanks much!
