So hindi ka na ORCA :?:  ORGA ka na ngayon (ORbe/GArrard) :!: :D

Tuna man- Thank you. No problem with having a listen. Will set it up when we meet later. :D

A few members dropped by last night to have a listen: audiofreaks/Fernan, Halls/Noly, redline_xp/Ryan, Wattanabe/Abe & Mario. Thanks for dropingby, guys :!:

Though not quite broken-in, they had fun listening to a tracks played thru MM, then 4 other MC carts from high to low output. Even to me, it was an enlightening experience. As the carts/gears were slowly breaking-in, I made small adjustments to the set-up. I still feel, the system is still evolving, and that it will sound different and better in a few weeks time.

It was also a chance for members to meet, get to know each other and share their thoughts on this our analog passion. I learned a lot listening to their personal comments on how the music in the vinyl was reproduced by the different cart/tonearm/ttable combos. This is the most number of analog gears I have actively running in my room.

Tito- Thank you for your comments. Joey hasn't failed to impress me with each & every effort. :D

HI Doc,

Thank you for giving us a chance listen to diff TT/Cart/Arm. What I've learned is start with a basic. As I go along and build collection your vinyl collection, it's time for me to have a reference TT (I hope):D .

It's 12 midnight and everybody are still up and running. It's nice to hear your Martin Logan once again . The highs are very liquid.

Thanks for the learnings doc. More good music to come.

PS: I missed Debbie G already :D

Your welcome guys. Just like you, it was the first time to hear all the ttables played one after the other. Since the last HiFi show, I haven't been able to listen in my attic. Only recently was I able to set-up the Creek, then the Garrard, the the Orbe(again :!: ). I added the Technics for MM comparison. It was nice meeting Fernan & Abe for the first time. What kept us up running past twelve was our passion for analog. Dropby again after the gears are broken-in. You will be surprised at how they 'matured'.

Fernan- You are welcome. It's kinda hard keeping mental notes with so many combos to try ou. I'm glad that your ttable is up and running far better. Time to buy more LPs, bro :!:
