Garrard 301 w/ SME3012 w/ Denon 103D - RUST COLOR

Postby joe3rp » Sat Nov 17, 2007 10:40 pm

Owner wanted the Garrard to be the same color as the original Garrard manual thet came with it

Image

The plinth as with ALL the Garrard 301/401 and Thorens 124 are made of 1"(approx) in top and 4 sides...NOT VEENEER! Then heavyweight 3/4 construction plywood internally/base.

In this session/delivery SETUP2 T-REX and Detubo were present

As with most newly installed Garrards, it is in the company of some heavy-hitters

cute  didn't you know the original manual was red in color? but has turned to that color throughout the years...

wait another 10 years, you will have to repaint the plinth to gayish-pink :D

Joey thank you thank you! Your workmanship on this turntable was worth all the wait. The finish on the plinth surpassed all my expectations. The sound is full of life and has rythm and pace. I'm one happy listener!
