Steve Clarke (user510) at AA posted this pic of Jonathan Weiss's 301 in slate plinth!

Knock, knock, doc lito (stereophile)! Are you seeing this?? hint,hint!!! The arm looks great ey!!!

So much so for anti skate. From my experienced, I am a believer that if the arm is heavy and at least 12"" (the Schick is actually a 16" per effective length) and with the proper cart matching (that compliance thing is important! Not because it works, it is right!), anti skate is not needed. Having said that, IMHO, the Schick performs much better than my 3012 with all things being equal.
