Master, may I borrow your plinth for my 301?

Postby stereophile » Fri Sep 14, 2007 7:40 am

Had to check if my 301 was working. Not having a plinth to try it on, I borrowed a spare plinth w/ a tonearm/cart from the Master joe3rp. Thankfully, it works flawlessly:

It will be a very sad day when I have to return this beautiful plinth & tonearm to the Master...

doc, you should commission Joey to build you a plinth like this, it is well worth the money and for a grease bearing, it certainly deserved a plinth as beautiful as this!

Chester-Thanks for your comments. It's joey who should be commended on another excellent masterpiece. I'm still deciding on what arm(s) to mount. That's what is stopping me from having a plinth made. I'm just relieved that my 301 is working flawlessly and dishing out great analog playback.
