Finally, after a very long delay, it is up and running.

Thanks to setup1 (Joseph) for his guidance that led me to the wonderful Thomas Schick 12" arm and for his help on the bumps along the way completing the 301, likewise for setup2 (Joel) who helped me tremendously on the speed variation problem of the Garrard. I really appreciate it guys!!

regards,

Abe

Very nice, Nakaka inggit. BTW, just want to ask what glue did you use to fasten the plywood, did you cut the plywood by yourself or did you have it done by a sash factory.

Thanks.

Thanks Chito! I cut the plywood myself and glued each piece by piece (or should I say board by board?) using regular carpenters wood glue. I was thinking of using hide glue but I am a bit worried that I will make a lot of errors by doing so. Maybe next time if luck permits.

ang ganda talaga ng 301 mo sir. Saan mo binili yung Birch ply mo ? mayroon supplier ng magagandang plywood sa Pacoima. Philips Plywood sa 13599 Desmond St. Pacoima, CA sa San Fernando Valley yan.
Susunod dapat dyan Altec speakers nka OB, 755A, 604, 515 o kya JBL
Hartsfield na. Dami sources nyan sa LA area.

Ambel, its funny you mentioned this because I just lost track of an AR speakers sold recently at Ebay with the 755A drivers that I have on my watch list

anyway, okay lang, ang mahal na pala ngayon niyan! who knows, maybe someday...

Hi Abe,

Congrats on a great job! So what's the next step 755A/OB or heat up the soldering iron?

Happy listening!
